Retreading an old technique from last year. Still makes some neat images.

WIP. Adding some geometry to act as a home of the finer detail I want to include soon.

WIP. Had a few moments to inlay the geometry of the base tonight. This will come in handy when working on animation.

WIP. Put together the base shapes. Making manual cuts, minimizing the areas where the quads would get really tightly packed (without making too many triangles), and fencing in the areas around the holes helped solidify the shape a bit more.

Work in progress, added more spikes.

WIP for a new project.

Daily WIP. Sketches for the next project. Narrowing in on something.

Daily WIP. Learned alot from making this guy. Made a lot of mistakes. Thanks to the project I will have a better approach for characters in the future!

Daily WIP. Built a new chain for the ponytail and set it up more like a tail.

Daily WIP. Started rigging up a dynamic IK chain for the ponytail, then I realized that there is probably a different approach that will get better results.

Daily WIP. Beard weighting to face controls.

Daily WIP. Took a little time to set up the mustache so that it moves with the upper lip.

Daily WIP. Thanks to Cinema 4D’s flexible constraint system, I was able to parent my mouth controls to the head and jaw, without needing expresso.
